For our purposes a storyboard is a series of drawings of the proposed film, as it will appear on screen. These drawings play an important part in the production of any video or film. It is a plan of the end product and is often referred to during production.

Every scene in your film should be planned very carefully. So that when filming begins everybody knows exactly what is to be done and no time is wasted while the director decides what to do (see attached example) and template.

we loked at recording plates, they reccored what you wanted then to say, then it will repeat it back by the press of the button. there were two sizes. an a5 and an a4 size. they were 20 dollars each and used by people with cognitive disabilities, and memory loss. people with traumatic brain injury.

this peice of equiptment will aid people with cognitive dysfunctions to be able to record important things so it aids memory. possible things could be to reccord a list or structure a day which will be able to decrease fatigue which is a comon symptom of traumatic brain injury.

difference between digital and optical zoom

optical zoom works just as a zoom lens on a film camera. the lens changes focal lenghth and magnification as it is zoomed. digital zoom simply crops the image to a smaller size, then enlarges the cropped part to fit the frame.

i think in todays world it is important to keep up with the ever changing times. with our fast paced world its helpfull to use technology as it is alot quicker and reliable compared to post or word of mouth ect. however it is important to have an understanding of ethical issues in technology, in order to maximise appropriate usage.
